Know what trigger point therapy is! - Trigger Points are discrete, focal hyper irritable spots located in a taut band of skeletal muscle. The spots are painful on compression and can produce referred pain, referred tenderness, and motor dysfunction.
Know about active and latent trigger points! - Active Trigger Points causes pain at rest and has a referral pattern that accompanies it. Tender to palpation and has a similar referral pattern to patients pain complaint. Pain is described as spreading and radiating. A latent trigger points does not cause spontaneous pain, but may restrict movement or cause muscle weakness. The patient with a latent trigger point will only know there is a trigger point if pressure is directly applied it.
Know about primary and secondary trigger points! - Primary trigger points are the points that are causing the main issue with the client. Secondary trigger points may develop because of the primary trigger point.
Whats the referral pattern for subscapularis and serratus posterior superior? - Shoulder
How do you get trigger points? - Trigger Points are developed from muscular strain and or overuse/overload in muscles. Trigger points can also be developed from acute and chronic injuries as well as emotional stress.
On a pain scale of 1-10 what number should client be on? - 7
What is the method of majority of your trigger point work? - Fingers, Knuckles, Elbows, Forearms
What musdes prevent upward rotation of scapula? - Rhomboid
What happens if you feel a pulse? - Move somewhere else
Know what a twitch response is! - Something like gutter stings

腕周りは多くの筋肉が集まっていて複雑だし、ピンポイントに見つけるのは難しいけど、全体をほぐすのもあり。また手首の周りは腱になるので、肘に近い方の筋肉側をマッサージしてあげよう。
